Deadwind Pass is a haunted forest and canyon on the edges of the Kingdom of Stormwind in the southern Eastern Kingdoms. Serving as borders between Duskwood and Swamp of Sorrows , evil magic can be felt all through the zone, the trees are all but dead, and very few wildlife and ogres can be found in the zone.
Deadwind Pass Undead Farming Location (Classic – WotLK) During Classic WoW one of the most unknown and best locations for you to farm is the undead enemies in Deadwind Pass. Most people know about the Deadwind Pass Ogres but the undead in this same zone rarely get the attention they deserve. To reach the location I am talking about on this page you’ll want to …
The Deadwind Pass Ogres are one of the oldest and most noteable farming locations. During the original Classic WoW this place was almost perma camped by Chinese gold farmers and regular ol’ gold farmers like me and you. So many people like this location because of how squishy the ogre enemies are here.
Deadwind Pass used to be the way to cut from Booty Bay up the continent and into the Badlands, and it was possible for even low-level (20-30ish) characters. Now there are vultures ON the paths, and venomous spiders hanging on webs above the path which drop down to attack you. The spiders just keep spawning until you are gone, or dead.
Either way, the Deadwind Pass is great for farming Runecloth. I won’t include a map for this, as apart from the birds, these are literally all the mobs there are in the zone. If you have more suggestions, feel free to comment them down below!
Deadwind Pass Ogres. In general, you want to kill humanoids that are level 45 or higher when you are farming. There is another spot with ogres that can be amazing. The higher the level of the mobs gets, the higher the chance is, that they also drop Runecloth. It’s in one of the least visited zones in all of World of Warcraft, the Deadwind Pass.
